Many local, Ranji n other National level matches have been hosted by this stadium already n it's just a matter of time, before it makes it's debut on the international scene.. Whenever there's a match here, the local cricket lovers throng this place to cheer their local stars like K.B.Pavan,Raghavendra,Aditya B Sagar etc.. So the next time you hear there's a match in Mysore,u know the place, where all the cricketing action will be...

Gulla Puri, another version of Panipuri!!!

Guess many of the people haven heard of the name "GULLA PURI". Yes its an another version of panipuri available on the road sides everywhere!!
Actual Panipuris are only available in the evening times on the streets and chat corners, but this gulla puri walas starts their business from the morning itself!!!
Here u get only pani puri and yeah "Sukka puri!!" which is a dry version of panipuri for which he never put pani!!. If u haven tried it!! Go try once!! Its nice to have it wen u are hungry!!

The above pic is the famous "GULLA PURI CORNER" in Gangothri Campus. Firstly this gulla puri wala was near ROUND CANTEEN!!! now hes has shifted to the corner of the university entrance!!!

He is serving gulla puri since 6 years in the campus, and ya the gangothri and JCE students are the regular customers!!
But this guy still haven learnt Kannada properly!!!

Corner House - The best corner to Chill Out!!

The famous "Corner House" group, who have,a sort of, attained an exclusivity in serving people with the yummiest n most delicious ice creams,have started their 'corner' in VV Mohalla ,Mysore.. Honestly,there are more than one recommendations that I would make, of all that you are offered by the menu.. But then 'course, there is the "Death By Chocolate(DBC)" that you simply can't afford to miss... Definitely a cool place to hang out..!!
Well,if your tongue has an affinity towards some of the best ice creams served around,all that I would say is,your destination is just at the 'the Corner'... ;-)

Yup..!! As the title suggests,almost everything served here,is in good taste alright.. The Nalpak group of restaurants have two branches in the city @ Kuvempunagar & VV Mohalla. Now with their newest branch being opened today in the Vishwamanava Double Road,Kuvempunagar, I'm sure the people of Kuvempunagar will find a new source to satisfy their taste buds, in this place..N 'course, apart from the taste, the bright lightings, the unique kind of flooring, the interiors n general setup of the restaurant is an attraction in itself
This I can tell you, from personal experience.. ;-)

Marimallappa's!! the oldest institution of mysore, manufacturing the brain machines since 130 years!! Every student of mari's feel proud to say that he/she is a mari's product!!!
Its still maintaining its fame providing quality education since ages!! It has given many technocrats & medicos to the country!!
And ya just happened to visit our school last weekend with my friends!! And we had met our biology lecturer MSP!! And he was happy too see us and he did recognised us too.
And came to know by him, that our school was listed into the heritage bulidings of the city.
And it has got so much of grants from the goverment to maintain the heritage as it is!!
And so our school is charming now!! :) And also heard that they are buliding a website too!!
hope to see more!!!
And now the school principal is Managalamma[MM] and for college Puttacahar[PCR]!!

Yup!!Even am proud to be a Mari's product!!:)

Yup!! the biggest super market chain Big Bazaar is coming to mysore!!! Guess it will be the biggest mall in mysore!! Its taking shape just behind Sony world near ramaswamy circle!!

Only heavy vehicles are using it properly, but the two wheelers and the cars are still opting the main roads with busy signals to go out of the city!!
As i know ring roads are made to conserve precious time!!

I just used it yesterday and just reminding u people tooo ;)

This 75-feet, square tower is topped in Indo-Saracenic style.
The structure is appropriately set on a base amidst a well-tended circular garden. The tower is among the monuments which came up during the Silver Jubilee of the reign of Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV (1927).

Previously it was known as Fab city but later Aditya birla group acquired Fab mall groups!!
Its one of the biggest and the busiest mall in the town. Running successfully providing more offers and sales!!

But i do .. there is a list if i start mentioning the examples ,
CCD, Bombay tiffanies, Westside, Woodlands, Adidas, Primus , Levi's, megamart, The Loot, A2Z, KBC, Chicken Hut, Authana, ufff!!! the list goes on!!!

Then wen u goto shopping in the evening near Urs road!! You can visit this shop.
Its in shivrampet road parallel to Urs road!!
Its in left side wen u come from Rajkamal theatre to city market!!
U can find this shop easily , just check out the crowd in front of any shops in that side ,if u find it ,then it must be the same shop!!
Even he prepares kachori,vada paav,and some other chats too!!

A real cool place to hang out with friends !!
I still remember our last visit to this place when T20 match was on air!!
He he :) we had no signs of leaving the cafe till the match get over!!

We find these fruit vendors selling it everywhere around the city with the pushcarts!!!

We friends had it yesterday!!! Its really nice to taste it once when it is around!!!

The new kane juice centre has been open in saraswathipuram 1st main!!
Here they serve different types of kane juices - Chat masala, Ginger, Lime, Mint, Salt & Pepper and plain !!
Rs.10 for any type of juice.
Special thing in this shop is, they don use ice cubes for juice, instead they keep the sugarcanes in the freezers.

Kalamandir bridge which had started its construction ages back is finally completed and open for public now!!
It has took around a year for its completion!!
Hats off to Indian railways who struggled hard to construct this great bridge!!
Even hongkong airport dint take this much time seriosuly!!!

Ya many people from kids to oldies come here in the morning and also in the evening time..
After all this is a place which inspired our great poet Kuvempu to write all his great literature!!

This lake has got Rs.1 crore in this year's budget for upgradation!!!
